Sampling Studio Guitar
Around the time me and my wife moved out of LA, I had just gone to the NAMM show and purchased a beautiful D’Angelico classical nylon guitar. The first nylon guitar the brand had ever made actually.
We were living in my inlaws house for a bit, and I had a solo day with the house for myself, pretty quiet neiborhood. Since there weren’t many projects ongoing, I challenged myself to record, denoise, chop and map a proof of concept I had for a simple guitar in less than a day. It may have taken 2 or 3 days at the end, but I published in Musio and still today, 4 years later, is one of the most downloaded instruments in the app.
It was also the first instrument of the Studio Series, and opened the door for Studio Basses and the method I’ve used to record all the guitars for Saturn Samples.
