Gina Luciani: Cinema Flutes

This was one of those projects that allowed me to meet someone whos performance has made us all tear up. Gina Luciani is an inmessurably talented flute performer who performed the flute in the movie Up!, with music from Michael Giacchino (amongst many other projects you definitely know).

I was not part of the recording, the session was run by Shane Roberts and team (I believe it was only Maddie for this one but Amanda and Kirsten could have been there too), and got a complete set of samples for Concert, Alto, Bass, and Contrabass flutes. Legatos, ALL SORTS of really cool and cinematic effects, different kinds of shorts and gestures, you name it. Incredibly versatile and useful set of instruments, my to go flute on most projects.

Gina herself was such an amazing person to meet, and did such a fantastic job at sampling this set of instruments, I am glad the work of this team will be preserved!
