Welcoming everyone to Musio

The last big project at Musio before I went on paternity leave was releasing the Musio Marketplace. This new part of the store allowed for third party developers to seel their instruments in Musio, with a "white glove" porting process, this meant the third party didnt have to worry about the porting at all, that was all my job. Between July and October of 2025, I met with the teams of and ported collections from SoundIron, AudioOllie, and ProjectSam, some of the biggest names out there in sampling, and some of their biggest collections too.

AudioOllie had been one of my favorite percussion developers for a while, so I was very excited to get my hands on their raw samples and build the Musio instrument for LA Modern Percussion (mixed by Alan Meyerson), and Nashville Scoring Strings. SoundIron was a beast, Hyperion Strings and Brass alone was 4 collections with about 500-600 instruments, then I also imported Emotional Piano and Apocalypse Percussion, and a couple more that were left in the backlog for time reasons. ProjectSam gave us the legendary TrueStrike and a couple other collections we couldnt get out in time.

Needless to say, it was eyeopening to see how other developers make their instruments, and how our system and importing methods were capable of porting and supporting most of their main features. Im proud to have added all this content from multiple developers in a short amount of time, it felt like a proof that our work at improving Musios workflows and systems was working.
